Shipping Overview

At Green Leaf Herbals, we are committed to delivering your herbal products safely and promptly. We currently ship to all areas within Sri Lanka. Every order is carefully packed to ensure your products arrive in perfect condition.

We partner with trusted local courier services to provide reliable delivery across the island. Please review the sections below for detailed information on processing times, delivery areas, shipping costs, and what to do if an issue arises with your order.

Order Processing

Once your order is placed and payment is confirmed, we begin processing it within 1–2 business days. During peak seasons or promotional periods, processing may take up to 3 business days.

  • Orders placed before 2:00 PM on a business day are typically processed the same day.
  • Orders placed after 2:00 PM or on weekends/public holidays will be processed the next business day.
  • You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been dispatched.

Please note: Business days are Monday through Saturday, excluding Sri Lankan public holidays.

Delivery Areas

We deliver island-wide across Sri Lanka, covering all 25 districts including major cities and rural areas.

Western ProvinceColombo, Gampaha, Kalutara – Standard delivery
Other ProvincesAll other districts including North, East, Uva, and Sabaragamuwa
Remote AreasDelivery available but may take additional 1–2 business days

Important: Please ensure your delivery address is complete and accurate, including any landmarks or directions that may help our courier reach you without delays.

Shipping Rates

Shipping charges are calculated based on your delivery location and order value. We strive to keep shipping costs as affordable as possible.

Additional charges may apply for re-delivery attempts, remote island locations, or special delivery requests. Any such charges will be communicated to you before dispatch.

Estimated Delivery Times

Delivery times begin from the date of dispatch (not the order date). Estimated timeframes are as follows:

Colombo & Suburbs1–2 business days
Other Major Cities2–4 business days
Rural & Remote Areas3–6 business days

Disclaimer: Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to weather conditions, public holidays, natural disasters, or circumstances beyond our control.

Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email or SMS with your tracking number and a link to track your shipment.

  • Tracking information may take up to 24 hours to become active after dispatch.
  • You can track your order via the courier's website or by contacting our support team.
  • If your tracking status has not updated for more than 3 business days, please reach out to us for assistance.

Failed & Missed Deliveries

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful (e.g. no one is available to receive the parcel), our courier will typically make up to 2 additional delivery attempts.

  • After all delivery attempts are exhausted, the parcel will be returned to our warehouse.
  • Re-delivery charges may apply for returned parcels being sent out again.
  • If the delivery fails due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, additional shipping fees will be charged for re-dispatch.

Tip: Please provide a phone number where our courier can reach you on the day of delivery to avoid missed deliveries.

Damaged in Transit

Although we take great care in packaging your order, damage may occasionally occur during transit. If you receive a damaged or incorrect item:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order.
  • Provide clear photographs of the damaged item and packaging.
  • Include your order number and a brief description of the issue.

Our Promise: We will arrange a replacement or full refund (including shipping costs) for any items confirmed to be damaged during transit. Your satisfaction is our priority.

International Shipping

At this time, Green Leaf Herbals ships only within Sri Lanka. We do not currently offer international shipping.

We are actively exploring options to expand our delivery network internationally. Please follow us on social media or subscribe to our newsletter for updates on when international shipping becomes available.
